I am a Member of the European Parliament for the East of England. I have always been proud to be British. I want my children to be able to be proud of our great country too. I will not sit on the sidelines.

Vicky was born and grew up in Northern Ireland. Her parents were both English doctors. As a child she joined her mother campaigning with the peace movement and her father stood in local elections in an area now dominated by Sinn Fein.
She attended primary school in Northern Ireland, but following her father's death she went to secondary school in England and then read Maths and Economics at Trinity College, Cambridge.
Conservatives in the European Parliament are part of a new political grouping the "European Conservative and Reformist Group." We believe in a United Europe of Sovereign States not a United States of Europe.
